This site is an open body of university mathematics. Every definition, theorem, proof, worked example and exercise has its own permanent address, so you can link to it, and hovering over a link shows you what it points to.
We aim for two things: correctness first, and intuition before formalism. Each topic starts from a concrete question, builds the idea informally, and then states it precisely. Computations in worked examples and the answers to exercises are checked by a computer algebra system before a page is marked as verified.
Subjects¶
- Calculus
- Single-variable calculus: limits, derivatives, integrals, sequences and series, and a first look at differential equations. This is the first subject, and it is being written now.
More subjects, starting with linear algebra and multivariable calculus, will follow the same structure.
How to use this site¶
Start with how to read this site: it explains the core text, the rigorous track, the exercise tiers and what a page’s status means.
The notation guide lists the symbols used on every page.
Content status shows how far each page has got through review and verification.
